It’s OK to Take a Minute
Feeling run down? Burnt out? Depleted?
Yeah, been there.
I see you out there. Giving care to everyone but yourself. Making sure everyone has what they need, when and where they need it. And then cleaning up after them when they’re done.
Being a giver is a beautiful thing. Being needed by others is a gift that provides a sense of purpose and fulfillment. This is a gentle reminder that you are allowed to receive too. Maybe in this season that looks like just stretching out on the floor for a couple minutes before dinner and noticing where your body feels tight. Maybe it’s taking 20 minutes to make a hot drink and call a friend. Maybe it looks like scheduling an hour or two for a massage and a sauna.
Whatever it looks like for you right now, this is your permission - it’s ok to take a minute.
