Cold and Flu Season and Massage

Should you get a massage when you’re sick?

NO! Your massage therapist doesn’t come into work when they’re sick. That means for the entire duration of the sickness from the first to the last day of symptoms. And we expect the same of our clients.

We are always happy to reschedule due to illness or emergencies and we don’t charge a fee for that.

What are we doing to prevent the spread of germs?

We take disinfection protocols seriously. We always allow at least a full 30 minutes between clients to ensure time for a thorough cleaning to take place. We wipe down all surfaces with a hydrogen peroxide based disinfectant between clients. Hands are washed for 20 seconds with hot water immediately before and after each client. Linens are replaced between each client with a clean set, and dirty linens are stored separately and washed in soap and hot water at the end of each day.
